September 2019: The BRAT group receives a grant from the NSF: EFRI C3 SoRo: Between a Soft Robot and a Hard Place: Estimation and Control Algorithms that Exploit Soft Robots' Unique Abilities to study fabric reinforced inflatable soft robots, in cooperation with the Advanced Composite Materials Lab . Collaborators outside of TU include Marc Killpack (Brigham Young University), David Wingate (Brigham Young University), and Cecilia Laschi .
August 2019: Joshua Schultz, BRAT group director, is promoted to Associate Professor with tenure
July 2019: "Toward a Bipedal Robot with Variable Gait Styles: Sagittal Forces Analysis in a Planar Simulation and a Prototype Ball-Tray Mechanism", by Huzaifa, Fuller, Schultz, and LaViers, is accepted to IROS 2019
